During your time as a volunteer with us, you will acquire a variety of technical and social skills, while developing your inner resources.
During the work you will be encouraged to practice Skillful Means, a comprehensive and organic approach to work that was developed by Rinpoche, our founder, the Tibetan lama Tarthang Tulku.
Dharma Publishing offices and presses are located at Ratna Ling, a retreat center nestled in the breathtaking coastal Sonoma hills of Northern California.
In the evenings there are classes in Buddhist studies, meditation and Kum Nye, a form of Tibetan yoga.
Accommodations include a (shared) room and gourmet vegetarian meals, as well as a small monthly stipend (only for commitments of six months or more).
A typical working week includes six days of work from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with opportunities for Buddhist practice, guidance, classes or simply relaxing in the natural majesty of the coastal redwood forest.
