Adopt a Book offers individuals, organizations and corporations the opportunity to participate in this wholesome cause.
The production cost per volume (eight thousand copies, with 700 to 900
pages) amounts to $32,500. This is only the cost of paper and ink; all
labor is incurred entirely by volunteers.
Thus, every financial contribution to Dharma Publishing will directly fund the production of the Tibetan books.

According to the Tibetan Buddhist
tradition, participation in a meaningful cause produces positive karma.
This good karma will benefit the donator, and if the donator dedicates

Dedication of a book to, for instance,
one’s parents can ease their path into their next life. During the
World Peace Ceremony in Bodh Gaya, the names of the beneficiaries are
read aloud. Hence, your donation will not only benefit the Tibetans who
receive these precious books, but also enrich your life and the lives
of your loved ones.

Organize a group to sponsor the production of an entire print run of one book, for $32,500, or sponsor just a few:

100 books cost $450
A library of 500 books costs $2,000.
